A top end technical ice axe for extreme ice climbing and dry tooling, with interchangeable picks and the option of fitting an adze or hammer.
It has a "G-bone" carbon composite shaft (alloy and carbon fibre) and a full carbon handle.
It is fitted with Grivel's Ice Vario Pick and a Blank Head that can be removed to enable fitting of an adze or hammer.
This is identical to Grivel's The Dark Machine except for the handle that is canted back at a steeper angle, and the lack of a ferule spike.
